OUR ACCESSIBILITY GOAL
Building an inclusive digital service
We are working towards meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make digital content more accessible to people with a wide range of access requirements.
Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility. We will continue to review, test and improve the website as its content and services develop.
Current status
We are not claiming full WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance until the website has completed its final accessibility testing and identified issues have been addressed.
This statement explains our current approach, known challenges and how to request support.
WHAT WE ARE WORKING TOWARDS
Using the website with different access needs
Keyboard access
We aim to make navigation, links, buttons and forms usable without a mouse wherever the website’s functionality allows.
Screen readers
We use structured headings, meaningful link text, form labels and descriptive alternatives for important visual content.
Text resizing
We aim for content to remain readable and usable when visitors enlarge text or zoom the page using browser controls.
Colour and contrast
We use contrasting colours and avoid relying on colour alone to communicate essential instructions or meaning.
Responsive layouts
Our pages are designed to adapt to desktop computers, tablets and mobile devices without unnecessary horizontal scrolling.
Clear content
We aim to use direct language, consistent navigation, descriptive headings and clearly presented actions.
ADJUSTING YOUR EXPERIENCE
Changes you can make in your browser or device
Your browser, operating system or assistive technology may provide controls that help you use this website more effectively.
Available options depend on the device, browser and technology you use.
You may be able to
- Increase or reduce page magnification
- Change text size, colour or spacing
- Navigate using a keyboard or voice controls
- Use a screen reader or screen magnifier
- Enable captions or other media controls where available
- Use browser reading or high-contrast modes
REASONABLE ADJUSTMENTS
Tell us what support you need
We recognise that an accessible website may not meet every individual requirement. Contact us if a disability, health condition or access need makes it difficult to use our website, information or services.
We will consider reasonable adjustments and practical alternatives based on your needs and the service involved.
Support may include
- Providing information in a different accessible format
- Explaining information by telephone or email
- Supporting completion of an enquiry or registration
- Adjusting communication or learning arrangements
- Considering additional time or other practical support
KNOWN CHALLENGES
Areas that may require further improvement
The website is developing, and some content or functionality may not yet meet every WCAG 2.2 Level AA success criterion. Areas that may require further testing or improvement include:
Third-party services
External payment, identity, video, social media or communication services may have accessibility features that we do not directly control.
Account and administration tools
Some Drupal account, administration or learning interfaces may differ from the design and behaviour of the main public website.
Documents and media
Future documents, recordings or embedded media may require accessible alternatives, captions, transcripts or formatting improvements.
Responsive and assistive testing
Additional testing across browsers, devices, keyboard navigation and assistive technologies forms part of our final quality review.
REPORTING AN ACCESSIBILITY PROBLEM
Help us identify and remove barriers
Contact us if you cannot access part of the website, encounter an accessibility barrier or need information in a different format.
Tell us which page or service you were using, what difficulty you experienced and what format or adjustment would help you.

We will review this page when the website receives substantial changes, when accessibility testing identifies new issues or when relevant standards and responsibilities change.
Completing the final accessibility review, documenting confirmed limitations and correcting significant barriers remain part of our website quality-assurance process.
