Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (LSSGB™) is an official 6sigmastudy certification route available through RDE’s VMEdu Authorised Training Partner access. It combines Lean and Six Sigma thinking for professionals who want to improve processes, reduce waste, minimise defects and support continuous improvement.
What the preparation covers
The learning develops understanding of Lean and Six Sigma tools and techniques, process analysis, waste reduction, quality improvement and practical problem solving. Candidates prepare using the official learning package associated with the current LSSGB™ certification route.
Exam and certification
RDE can assign candidates through its authorised VMEdu partner portal. The assigned route includes official training materials and the applicable certification examination. The certification is issued by 6sigmastudy after the candidate successfully satisfies the examination requirements. Course access is provided for up to 180 days under the current partner package.
Who this route is for
This route is suitable for professionals working in quality, operations, process improvement, project delivery and organisational improvement who want an integrated Lean Six Sigma credential.
Entry guidance
Six Sigma Yellow Belt knowledge is recommended but is not mandatory.
Practical preparation
Map a process and identify waste, variation and defects. Practise selecting improvements and explaining how you would monitor their effect. These are suggested practice activities, rather than additional issuer prerequisites.
Assessment format
The current LSSGB assessment is an online, unproctored multiple-choice exam with 100 questions and 120 minutes. Confirm the current booking instructions when your partner access is assigned.
Validity and renewal
6sigmastudy lists a three-year recertification cycle. Its published options include the relevant recertification exam or another certification from the same issuer. Check the current policy before arranging renewal. The 180-day learning-access period is separate from credential validity.
Career development
Use the credential alongside practical evidence and relevant experience. It can support a development conversation with employers, but it does not guarantee a role, salary or promotion.
