SCRUMstudy Agile Master Certified (SAMC™) is an official SCRUMstudy certification route available through RDE’s VMEdu Authorised Training Partner access. It supports professionals who want broader Agile capability and the ability to understand, compare and apply Agile approaches across different delivery situations.
What the preparation covers
The route develops knowledge of Agile principles, adaptive planning, iterative delivery, stakeholder collaboration and the practical selection and application of Agile approaches. Candidates prepare using the official learning package associated with the current SAMC™ certification.
Exam and certification
RDE can assign candidates through its authorised VMEdu partner portal. The assigned route includes official training materials and the applicable certification examination. The certification is issued by SCRUMstudy after the candidate successfully satisfies the examination requirements. Course access is provided for up to 180 days under the current partner package.

This route is suitable for Agile practitioners, Scrum professionals, project and product delivery professionals, team leaders and people who want a broader recognised Agile credential.
Entry guidance
There is no formal prerequisite. Familiarity with SDC or SMC concepts can help you compare Agile approaches.
Practical preparation
Compare delivery approaches for a changing project. Explain how feedback, iterative planning and collaboration would change your delivery decisions. These are suggested practice activities, rather than additional issuer prerequisites.
Assessment format
The current SAMC assessment is an online, unproctored multiple-choice exam with 100 questions and 120 minutes. Confirm the current booking instructions when your partner access is assigned.
Validity and renewal
SCRUMstudy lists a three-year recertification cycle. Its published options include the relevant recertification exam or another certification from the same issuer. Check the current policy before arranging renewal. The 180-day learning-access period is separate from credential validity.
Career development
Use the credential alongside practical evidence and relevant experience. It can support a development conversation with employers, but it does not guarantee a role, salary or promotion.
