Six Sigma Green Belt (SSGB™) is an official 6sigmastudy certification route available through RDE’s VMEdu Authorised Training Partner access. It is designed for professionals who want a structured approach to process improvement, quality management, problem solving and defect reduction.
What the preparation covers
The learning develops practical understanding of Six Sigma tools and techniques used to analyse processes, identify improvement opportunities, reduce variation and support continuous improvement. Candidates prepare using the official learning package associated with the current SSGB™ certification route.
Exam and certification
RDE can assign candidates through its authorised VMEdu partner portal. The assigned route includes official training materials and the applicable certification examination. The certification is issued by 6sigmastudy after the candidate successfully satisfies the examination requirements. Course access is provided for up to 180 days under the current partner package.
Who this route is for
This route is suitable for quality professionals, process analysts, project practitioners, operations staff and professionals responsible for continuous improvement or structured problem solving.
Entry guidance
Six Sigma Yellow Belt knowledge is recommended but is not mandatory.
Practical preparation
Choose a process, define the problem and identify useful measures. Practise analysing causes and proposing an improvement that can be checked against evidence. These are suggested practice activities, rather than additional issuer prerequisites.
Assessment format
The current SSGB assessment is an online, unproctored multiple-choice exam with 90 questions and 120 minutes. Confirm the current booking instructions when your partner access is assigned.
Validity and renewal
6sigmastudy lists a three-year recertification cycle. Its published options include the relevant recertification exam or another certification from the same issuer. Check the current policy before arranging renewal. The 180-day learning-access period is separate from credential validity.
Career development
Use the credential alongside practical evidence and relevant experience. It can support a development conversation with employers, but it does not guarantee a role, salary or promotion.
