Advance into enterprise data practice through Python, machine learning, advanced BI, cloud data engineering, governance, predictive analytics, strategy and leadership.
Develop advanced enterprise data practice and strategic judgement. This 26 to 30-week programme combines analytics, cloud data engineering, governance and leadership for learners with suitable foundations or experience.
What you will develop
- Develop advanced Python automation and machine-learning workflows, including regression, classification and clustering fundamentals.
- Explore enterprise dashboards, embedded analytics and big-data concepts including Hadoop and Spark.
- Investigate cloud-native data engineering using AWS, Azure and Snowflake, alongside data quality and Collibra-related governance concepts.
- Develop forecasting and anomaly-detection scenarios, consulting, enterprise data strategy and stakeholder communication.
- Assess analytical assumptions, model limitations and business risks before presenting recommendations.
Practical work
Design an enterprise-wide data solution and present the supporting strategy to a senior audience. Explain architecture choices, quality, governance, analytical value, risks and implementation priorities.
Career directions
Build evidence towards experienced analytics, cloud data engineering, data consultancy and enterprise data work. Leadership, architecture and head-of-data roles require professional experience beyond completion of the programme.
UK salary and contract-rate guide
Evidence reviewed: 6 October 2026. These examples describe the employment market for named roles and help you explore career progression.
These role benchmarks reflect progression as relevant experience develops. The Data Engineer benchmark is not a senior-only or cloud-specific salary distribution.
Annual figures are gross permanent starting-salary projections at the 25th to 75th percentiles in Robert Half’s 2026 UK national guide. Contract figures are UK advertised daily rates at the 25th to 75th percentiles in IT Jobs Watch’s six months to 6 October 2026. These are different datasets, not directly comparable pay packages. Contract income depends on billable days, engagement terms, tax treatment including IR35, expenses and gaps between assignments.

Salary and contract-rate figures are indicative UK market ranges based on publicly available evidence reviewed at the stated date. Actual earnings vary according to experience, location, employer, sector, qualifications, responsibilities and employment type. Course completion does not guarantee employment, promotion or a particular level of earnings.
Mentoring and career support
Mentoring connects technical learning with practical development and professional evidence. Your programme includes six months of job-search support and three months of in-role support. Discuss the arrangements and starting dates with our team, including CV, LinkedIn and interview preparation. Employment is not guaranteed.
Certification and assessment information
The source recommends cloud data engineering, CDMP and machine-learning learning routes. Azure Data Engineer Associate and its DP-203 exam have retired, and AWS Data Analytics Specialty is also retired. Current options to discuss include Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer Associate (DP-700), AWS Certified Data Engineer Associate, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer and DAMA CDMP. These are different scopes; an updated option is not a promise that every examination objective is covered by this programme.
Google recommends substantial industry and Google Cloud experience. CDMP requirements differ by level. Agree the selected route, practical preparation and any additional study before enrolment.

Programme completion is separate from passing an awarding body examination. Confirm the qualification route, assessments, examination access, additional costs and renewal arrangements before enrolment. No vendor award, provider endorsement or examination pass is guaranteed by course completion.
Your next step
Register your interest to discuss your experience, starting point, current delivery arrangements, tools and software access, assessment, certification options, fees and any available funding. Confirm the current intake and support arrangements before making a commitment.
