Develop enterprise Business Analyst capability across requirements engineering, BPMN, SQL, data modelling, governance, target operating models, Agile delivery and analysis tools.
Connect business needs with enterprise data and delivery. This 22 to 24-week intermediate programme brings together requirements engineering, process modelling, SQL, governance awareness and stakeholder facilitation.
What you will develop
- Apply business analysis frameworks informed by BABOK and BCS approaches; maintain requirements documentation and traceability.
- Model business processes using BPMN 2.0 and write user stories for Scrum and Kanban delivery.
- Analyse data with SQL, develop entity-relationship models and map data between systems.
- Facilitate workshops, explore target operating models and use Jira, Confluence, Balsamiq and Lucidchart.
- Study data governance through DAMA-DMBOK and introductory privacy and regulatory scenarios; use AI for documentation, mock-ups and reporting with human review.
Practical work
Deliver an end-to-end business analysis case study with a requirements pack and a business intelligence dashboard. Explain how data definitions, stakeholder needs and process changes inform the proposed solution.
Career directions
Explore Business Analyst, data-focused Business Analyst, BI Analyst, requirements and change-analysis opportunities. Governance and product-ownership routes depend on role requirements and relevant experience; SQL study alone does not establish data-engineering competence.
