Learning and support
This 16-week live online programme combines guided learning, workplace simulations, project activity and mentoring. Career preparation includes mock interview practice and three months of job-search support. Confirm software access, feature availability and support arrangements with RDE before enrolment.
Career pathways and UK pay context
Virtual assistance, team coordination, operational support and digital workflow roles. Skills and responsibilities vary by employer.
For a related established occupation, the National Careers Service gives executive assistant salaries of £28,000–£60,000 from starter to experienced level. This does not establish a separate pay range for every virtual assistant or remote support role.
Pay varies with experience, location and responsibilities. Contract day rates exclude employee benefits and do not imply continuous paid work. Reviewed 6 October 2026.
Certification guidance
This is a skills-development programme. A vendor certification requires the relevant provider assessment; completing this programme does not automatically award a Microsoft, Google, Tableau or other vendor credential. Ask RDE which assessment preparation and completion recognition apply before enrolment.
