Integrated Data Analytics & Intelligence Program (IDAIP)

Progress from data foundations to advanced analytics and enterprise intelligence through one connected pathway covering SQL, Python, BI, cloud, governance and data strategy.

Follow a connected pathway from beginner analysis to advanced enterprise intelligence. This 36 to 44-week integrated programme combines Data Foundations, Professional and Mastery with progressively demanding practical evidence.

What you will develop

  • Foundation stage: spreadsheets, SQL, Python, statistics, visualisation and professional communication.
  • Professional stage: analytical workflows, business intelligence, modelling, governance, cloud tools and automation.
  • Mastery stage: machine learning, predictive methods, enterprise analytics, cloud engineering and data strategy.
  • Develop responsible AI-assisted practice across the stages, verifying outputs and handling information appropriately.
  • Build a portfolio through a sales dashboard, an end-to-end BI solution and an enterprise data strategy presentation.

Practical work

Progress from an Excel/Power BI sales dashboard to a SQL/Python BI solution, then an executive-level strategy and solution presentation. Discuss sequencing and intensity with RDE; integrated duration is not the sum of the standalone stages.

Career directions

Explore progression from junior data and reporting work towards analysis, BI, engineering and, with experience, advanced enterprise roles. Beginner entry does not imply immediate eligibility for senior employment.

UK salary and contract-rate guide

Evidence reviewed: 6 October 2026. These examples describe the employment market for named roles and help you explore career progression.

These role benchmarks reflect progression as relevant experience develops. The Data Engineer benchmark is not a senior-only or cloud-specific salary distribution.

Annual figures are gross permanent starting-salary projections at the 25th to 75th percentiles in Robert Half’s 2026 UK national guide. Contract figures are UK advertised daily rates at the 25th to 75th percentiles in IT Jobs Watch’s six months to 6 October 2026. These are different datasets, not directly comparable pay packages. Contract income depends on billable days, engagement terms, tax treatment including IR35, expenses and gaps between assignments.

Mentoring and career support

Mentoring connects technical learning with practical development and professional evidence. Your programme includes six months of job-search support and three months of in-role support. Discuss the arrangements and starting dates with our team, including CV, LinkedIn and interview preparation. Employment is not guaranteed.

Certification and assessment information

The source recommends Power BI, Tableau, SQL and Python routes, with optional business-analysis study. Current names include Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) and Salesforce Certified Tableau Data Analyst. Agree the exact SQL/Python provider and award; general course certificates are different from vendor certifications.

The source recommends cloud data engineering, CDMP and machine-learning learning routes. Azure Data Engineer Associate and its DP-203 exam have retired, and AWS Data Analytics Specialty is also retired. Current options to discuss include Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer Associate (DP-700), AWS Certified Data Engineer Associate, Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer and DAMA CDMP. These are different scopes; an updated option is not a promise that every examination objective is covered by this programme.

Google recommends substantial industry and Google Cloud experience. CDMP requirements differ by level. Agree the selected route, practical preparation and any additional study before enrolment.
