Coding Mastery Program (CMP)

Advance into full-stack and enterprise software delivery through advanced Python and JavaScript, cloud and DevOps awareness, testing, secure APIs and AI-assisted development.

Extend coding into secure, maintainable software delivery. This 24 to 26-week advanced programme combines full-stack development, automated testing, cloud awareness and responsible AI-assisted engineering.

What you will develop

  • Build full-stack applications with React, Node.js and databases; develop advanced SQL and optimisation practices.
  • Explore advanced Python for data and AI, including TensorFlow and scikit-learn basics.
  • Apply secure-coding and OWASP awareness, authentication, authorisation and secure API practices.
  • Use cloud development concepts, Docker, CI/CD and deployment workflows alongside advanced test automation.
  • Control and verify AI-assisted code generation, debugging, documentation and tests.

Practical work

Design, build, secure, test and deploy an enterprise-style web application. Present maintainability, automated tests, security choices, deployment evidence and technical/business justification.

Career directions

Build evidence for progression towards full-stack, backend, software-delivery and testing opportunities. Cloud, DevOps, lead and architect positions require relevant experience beyond programme completion.

UK salary and contract-rate guide

Evidence reviewed: 6 October 2026. These examples describe named-role employment markets and help you explore career progression.

Annual figures are gross permanent starting-salary projections at the 25th to 75th percentiles in Robert Half’s 2026 UK national guide. Contract figures are UK advertised daily rates at the 25th to 75th percentiles in IT Jobs Watch’s six months to 6 October 2026. These are different datasets, not directly comparable pay packages. Contract income depends on billable days, engagement terms, tax treatment including IR35, expenses and gaps between assignments.

Full-stack Developer

Permanent salary: £43,500 to £77,250 a year. Contract rate: £425 to £575 a day.

Permanent salary source: Full-stack Developer; Contract-rate source: Full-stack Developer

The contractor benchmark contains 277 quoted daily rates. These figures are not a junior-only or senior-only distribution and require relevant delivery experience.

Salary and contract-rate figures are indicative UK market ranges based on publicly available evidence reviewed at the stated date. Actual earnings vary according to experience, location, employer, sector, qualifications, responsibilities and employment type. Course completion does not guarantee employment, promotion or a particular level of earnings.

Mentoring and career support

Mentoring connects technical learning with practical development and professional evidence. Your programme includes six months of job-search support and three months of in-role support. Discuss the arrangements and starting dates with our team, including CV, LinkedIn and interview preparation. Employment is not guaranteed.

Certification and assessment information

The source identifies full-stack, advanced programming, cloud fundamentals, test automation and RDE secure-API/AI-development learning certificates. There is no single universal full-stack certification. Agree the exact award and provider. Possible cloud-awareness routes to discuss include Microsoft Azure Fundamentals and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner; these do not themselves establish developer or DevOps competence.

Programme completion is separate from passing an awarding body examination. Confirm preparation, assessments, examination access, additional costs and renewal arrangements before enrolment. No vendor award or examination pass is guaranteed by course completion.

Your next step

Register your interest to discuss your experience, starting point, current delivery arrangements, tools and software access, assessment, certification options, fees and any available funding. Confirm the current intake and support arrangements before making a commitment.

Further specialist career benchmarks

UK market evidence checked on 7 October 2026. These are career progression examples across experience levels, not starting salaries promised by this programme. Architect and leadership roles normally require substantial relevant experience.

IT Jobs Watch ranges below are the 25th to 75th percentiles of quoted figures, covering the middle half of the sample. They are not minimum-to-maximum pay bands. Each dataset covers six months ending on the date shown.

Small samples, particularly Data Governance Analyst contract rates (15 quotes) and Software Architect contract rates (18 quotes), warrant caution. Actual earnings depend on experience, location, employer, sector, responsibilities and employment type. Contract rates are not take-home pay or annual salaries; paid days, expenses and tax arrangements vary. Completing this programme does not guarantee employment, promotion, contract work or income.
